4. What field trips are offered to Mariners Christian School students?

Field trips are an excellent way to supplement the core curriculum in various grade levels. In the elementary school, children experience more than thirty different field trips, including visits to the local fire station, police station, post office, and dentist office, as well as outings to Green Meadows Farm, Richard Nixon Library, Discovery Science Center, Festival of Cultures, and the San Juan Capistrano Mission. Fourth and fifth graders enjoy extra special overnight learning adventures to Sacramento (fourth grade) and AstroCamp (fifth grade). In the middle school, students experience three different multi-day adventures to Catalina Island for studies in marine biology, Oaks Christian Camp for experience in leadership and the outdoors, and Washington, D.C., for a comprehensive view of United States history and government, as well as our nation’s Christian heritage.
