December 2009 Dear Friends: For 22 years, Mariners Christian School has partnered with parents to influence the lives of 1,300 young people. Committed to the mission of “building a firm foundation through Christ-centered education,” our faculty and administration focus on ensuring that each child is challenged to grow academically, socially, and most importantly, spiritually by providing a rigorous academic curriculum taught from a distinctly Christian worldview. In the local public and private high schools, MCS graduates have a reputation for possessing integrity, a strong work ethic, high participation level, and positive attitude. Over 700 graduates are now enrolled in top colleges and universities across the nation and are making their mark in budding career and ministry positions. Mariners Christian School is able to accomplish this work only with the personal and financial involvement of its supporters. Every year-end, MCS provides an opportunity for current families, alumni, grandparents, friends, and others to invest necessary funding for strategic school advancements.
